Alarm Lady Bulletin #19 For my last Alarm Lady Bulletin of the year, I thought my readers may benefit from a few reminders. VoIP !!! We have sent information out about VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) a few times, but I thought it would be a good idea to send ANOTHER reminder about some of the problems with this technology as it relates to alarm systems and YOUR security.
If you have had DSL or any other high speed connection added to your phone line your alarm signal may be negatively affected if the proper filters are not installed. Please contact Linda Smallwood in our service department at 925-8915 or lsmallwood@genalarm.com. Always remember to test your alarm system after ANYTHING changes about your phone service. BASICS !!! PLEASE make sure to USE your alarm system EVERY DAY and EVERY NIGHT. Your life and your property may depend on it. If you have not had your alarm system serviced in the last 12 months, please contact Linda Smallwood in our service department at 925-8915 or lsmallwood@genalarm.com. Make sure that all alarm system users are trained on the proper use of the system. We would be happy to visit with you and the system users to conduct a review. Contact Donna Johnson at 925-8915 or djohnson@genalarm.com to make an appointment. If you need a new Yard Sign or Decals, please let Donna know and we'll hand deliver them. Good security is a combination of things:
