Alarm Lady Bulletin - 08 Things have been extremely busy at General Alarm! You may have heard that crime is up in the greater Indianapolis area by 23%. So please, make sure you are using your security system at all times, and if you haven’t had it serviced in the last 12 months, please contact our Service Manager, Mrs. Linda Smallwood, and she’ll make sure to get you on our schedule just as soon as possible. Spring spiders can clog up motion detectors and smoke detectors. We’ll clean them out for you! Linda may be reached at 317-925-8915 x112 or lsmallwood@genalarm.com. Here’s today’s security tip. Did you know that if you go to www.google.com and enter your phone number {i.e. 888-888-8888} and hit search that your name and address will pop up? And then………….if you hit the “Mapquest” connect button, a map of how to get to the address will be presented. You CAN request that your number BE REMOVED. It’s very simple to do. Obviously we see some advantages to this wonderful technology, but we can also see the disadvantages particularly when everyone has Caller ID. I suppose it may make us think twice about being rude to someone since they can quickly know where we live or work. With your security in mind, I am, Lisa L. Prosser “The Alarm Lady” lprosser@genalarm.com 317-925-8915 x 107 |
