Upcoming Spring Vacations
Are you ready????
The criminal community knows the following:
Spring Break – many people will leave their homes for several days at a time!
- You’re preparing to leave for a while. You make all your notes about what to do before you leave.
- Get the shopping done; buy that new bathing suit or get those skis prepared.
- Stop the mail
- Notify the neighbors or family
- Stop the newspaper delivery
- Make sure you’ve got your photo I.D. (even for kids)
- Remember to copy all the items (front and back) in your wallet and have them available for quick reference in case it’s stolen
- AND, Make sure you have your alarm system serviced before you go and PLEASE don’t wait until two days before your departure!
- Is your emergency contact information up-to-date?
- Are you using your security system regularly so you KNOW it’s working properly? You’d be surprised at the number of people who only use their system when they are away on vacation!
PLEASE! Even if you just go to the grocery in the middle of the day…….turn your alarm system on!
