Alarm Lady Bulletin - 01
Welcome to my first e-letter.
Welcome to my first e-letter. Several customers have asked me to provide occasional information that keeps them informed. It is my hope that the content is valuable to you and ultimately provides for a safer community. Your feedback, questions and idea are always welcome. The frequency of this e-letter will be based on the availability of issues that may be of interest.
You can always check our website at www.genalarm.com for other points of interest.
TODAYS TIP!
- Place the contents of your billfold or wallet on a photocopy machine.
- Copy both sides of each license, credit card, insurance card, etc.
- This way you will have record of what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel if needed. Keep the photocopy in a safe place.
- If your wallet is taken, CANCEL your credit cards immediately.
- File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where it was stolen.
- THEN…call the three national credit reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and SS#. This way, any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit while also establishing a RECORD of all the credit checks initiated by the thieves purchases.
